You see, these things that you are awakened from have been happening little by little each and every day, all year round. They are developed through an increase of wisdom and experience that one goes through each day.
When your subconscious brain takes note of it, you then start to realize consciously that these awakening facts, feelings, and emotions exist. So now that you know the truth. Let us talk about how to awaken intentionally, and create habits necessary for active spiritual awakening now that your body, mind, and spirit are ready.
These daily habits are worth trying to make happen autonomously. In order to do that, you should try these as much as you can every day regardless of how busy your life is.
How to Have a Spiritual Awakening
Open your Eyes with the Intent to Analyze
If you now shift your focus from living an autonomous lifestyle to a deliberate one, this is your official start to awakening. Most people live day to day doing the exact same things they did the day before without realizing it. No, not you. You will now begin to analyze why things are the way they are after you learn this simple trick.
Start to question everything you see, and what makes it that. For instance, when looking at people in a restaurant eating or someone texting on their phone or watching birds walk around looking for food, or even when you are taking your shower, start to think why do those people, those animals, or even you, do that?
Try to find the exact answers to the questions that you have. When you start to receive the answers to some of those questions, you now awaken in that particular category of a question, which in turn, ultimately increases your knowledge, wisdom, and level of awakening. It is as simple as that. Do this every single day and watch how much your perception of life will change, thus giving you an increase of spiritual and natural awakening.
Connect with the ANIMAL NATURE within YOU
Now I know what you may be thinking. Wait a minute? I have an animal nature inside me? Yes whether you believe it or not, we are animals, in the animal kingdom scientifically speaking. Well, technically we are mammals which are strands of animals like DNA. However, getting in touch with this nature side is easy.
Why do you want to get in touch with this side? Well because most animals have a powerful 6th sense that humans do not have. Secret senses were given to them by The Divine so they can be animals with those special traits only.
So, in order to fully awaken, you must be able to tap into this side of you that will enable you to become more of YOU. With added energy, vibration, and intelligence. It will open your mind and eyes in ways never seen before.
How to Start a Spiritual Awakening with Animal Nature
You must spend time in nature as the wild do. Places like the ocean, lakes, ponds, rivers, mountains, forests, woods, underwater, in the air; and you must become one with that environment. Doing grounding techniques that will allow you to sync your energy into that area.
Touching the ground or trees, smelling flowers and water, watching animals be who they are and acting like one in a light-sensitive way, tasting edible plants or fruits, listening to the bird’s chirp and frogs croak trying to communicate with them.
There are many ways to be in nature including meditating and keeping silent while listening and or watching everything that happens the way they do. This is the most practical way to hit all 5 senses and increase your spiritual awakening.
Manipulate Your Divine Powers Onto Others
Now acting out these daily habits to increase your awakening is not enough. Unfortunately, it is only the beginning. In order to master the art of spiritual awakening, you must be able to practice what you do in private to the public. You must be able to articulate what you practice to others.
In other words, you must become a teacher and be able to explain and articulate clearly to someone about spiritual awakening and divinity, so that it stays with you. You must test your belief.
What I mean by this is, that if you truly wish to be awakened, you must be able to strongly encourage someone to do something that will help them awaken and attain inner peace also.
Someone who may be depressed, anxious, stressed, alone, struggling mentally, or giving up, you must lead them and show them the way even though you may not have it all figured out yourself. You can do this with love and wisdom. This will strengthen your faith and belief in your awakening. This is called “Vision”.
Although you cannot see this spiritual power, you believe and have faith in it. Similar to believing in God or a God if you so wish. This will allow you to access hidden powers within you that you did not know you had.
This particular habit is essential because the development of your gifts enables you to grow into a wise teacher that impacts the world at a greater level. This is the true ultimate awakening.
This new opportunity will prohibit a new sense of perception and consciousness to your life thus increasing your level of spiritual awakening.
Learn and Prioritize Spiritual Development Goals
Similar to having daily goals, tasks to complete, life goals to accomplish, business goals to hit, or even family goals to live out, you must have spiritual goals and assignments as well. You should set clearly defined goals and approach learning in a persistent & systematic way.
Constantly looking for guidance on what you wish to achieve. Set time aside each and every day to study your mentor’s words, even if it’s for 10-20 minutes. An article in Psychology Today shows how spacing out your study with short small intervals can help you master material more quickly.
You want to take on spiritual awakening as if it’s the last class before you graduate college to attain your bachelor’s or master’s degree. It is highly important and strongly encouraged for you to map out a clear plan on what you need to do daily to achieve this.
You can begin by using a life planner or a journal. I used 3 journals and 2 life journals to ensure I am on task for everything I need to accomplish, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
A life planner has most of the guidance and or questions that you need to know the answers to in order to head in the right direction. If you do not have a planner that’s okay, the best thing I can do is recommend our favorite journal that we buy almost yearly. Take a look at our best recommendations for Journals and life planners here!
Hold Yourself Accountable and Confront Your Shortcomings
At the end of your day, be sure to self-reflect, on all of your accomplishments in your spiritual awakening journey. This is highly important and always overlooked. You must see what you have learned and what you have gained over the course of the day and the week. This enables you to know what action steps you must make for the necessary changes in your life to attain ultimate peace and satisfaction.
You can ask yourself simple questions such as, “what have I learned today? What must I work on next time to build more happiness in my life? What changes have I made in my behaviors that will allow more peace into my life? What can I work on tomorrow that will allow me to change my way of thinking?”
These are a few just to start with. You can make them up as you go along.
Remember that Spiritual Awakening is a Life-Long Journey
Every day you will need to remind yourself that total awakening does not happen overnight, nor next month, but it happens all through your life until the day you die. Why? Simple. Because every day, every week, every month, and every year; something new happens in your life that you must respond to. It is impossible for things to remain the same, or for the same things to happen all year round.
Therefore you will always have to change and adapt to new ways and learn new information as to why things are the way they are. This is the beauty of life.
Be sure to always journal your experience and your daily life happenings so that you can work through them because I can ensure you that the problems that you will experience will always be hard to solve. Write them down!
These are the daily habits that you can implement into your life little by little each and every day. They are simple to do, but they are also simple not to do. It is up to you how badly you wish to grow in your self-discovery journey.
